In the early 80's Kathy began creating handmade sheep, bear and rabbits. With encouragement from her husband, Jim, she opened The Sheep Shed...so it began!
​
Within a few years, Jim began making furniture for Kathy's creations. It didn't take long for her customers to begin requesting full size furniture for their homes. Kathy encouraged him to build cupboards, tables and more. So, Jim opened Worn New England...and so it continued!
​
As a team, they have been producing artisan handcrafts ever since. They have customers throughout New England and have developed an ever growing network. Exhibiting in some of the highest rated juried craft fairs in New England with other skilled artisans, it has become their full-time passion.
